Mr. Szmolenkov accompanies our German-Italian legal cooperation on the Italian mainland as well as in Sardinia and Sicily.
Mr. Szmolenkov has been appointed as a tax advisor since February 2021 and can look back on more than 10 years of professional experience in tax law.
He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2015 and his Master’s degree in Taxation and Accounting at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences in cooperation with Ingolstadt Technical University in 2017.
After completing his master’s degree, Mr. Szmolenkov worked for a Big Four company with a major client in the insurance industry for 2 years.
His main focus is on:
- Advice on real estate matters
- Inheritance and gift tax advice
- Advice on international tax matters
- Advice on criminal tax law
- Objection proceedings and court proceedings
- Support during external audits
Since December 2023, Mr. Szmolenkov has strengthened our team in the area of inheritance tax and international tax law. Mr. Szmolenkov speaks German, Spanish, Russian and Ukrainian.
In his free time, he plays chess and golf when he is not out on his motorcycle or motorboat.
